Art Buddies

Art Buddies pairs kind adults with children from the Twin Cities highest needs schools for creative one-to-one mentorship programs.

We are looking for volunteers who can dedicate an hour and a half, one day a week from mid-March to mid-May at one of our partner schools. We are always happy to accommodate students completing volunteer work for a course or internship requirement.

Art Buddies mentors get paired one-to-one with a student at one of our Minneapolis partner schools. Over the course of eight weeks, they work together to design a superhero character, build a 3D costume, and create joy and connection.

Art Buddies helps kids connect with their imagination, be encouraged to believe in themselves, be inspired to share their ideas, and to learn creative skills and problem solving.
